Welcome to kidsMEDPACKS!  We have been selected by your camp to help you organize all of your camper’s medication needs for their summer experience away from home.
 
kidsMEDPACKS' affiliated, licensed pharmacy will dispense all of your camper’s prescription and non-prescription medications (such as vitamins) in sealed, individual medication packets.  These packets are identified with your child’s name and prescription information and sorted by date and time to ensure that all medications your child is required to take daily are ready for dispensing at the right time of day.  With the tear-off packaging, they can easily be sent with your camper on overnight trips.  Prescription medications that are not in pill form such as inhalers, eye drops, ointments or liquid medications can also be dispensed by our pharmacy.  This will ensure that all of your child’s medications are packaged safely and securely and received by your camp before your camper arrives.   Any unused medications will be sent home with your child at the end of camp. 

Your camp stocks most of the common over-the-counter medications, such as Tylenol, Benadryl, Motrin and cough syrup if these are needed during the summer so you do not need to register with kidsMEDPACKS for these items.

There is a one-time $55 registration fee* for the summer.  This fee covers the cost of packaging and shipping all of your child’s medications directly to camp.  Refills will be monitored and maintained by our pharmacy and sent when due at no additional packaging or shipping charge.  The pharmacy will verify your insurance and bill your co-payment amount for prescription drugs; you will be responsible for any medication not covered by your insurance carrier and all non-prescription medications.

Deadline dates for kidsMEDPACKS receiving registration information and medication requests with prescriptions is 30 days prior to your camper's start date.

ANY registration or medication information received after the deadline date will incur a $35 fee to expedite processing and shipping.

Instructions for Registration

• Complete on-line registration.  It’s easy!
• Print the Medication Request Form and carefully complete it listing ALL medications you would like kidsMEDPACKS to dispense.
• Obtain prescriptions from your doctor.  Do NOT send us medication, vitamins or prescriptions from another pharmacy.

Prescription Guidelines:

• If your camper is staying longer than 30days, confirm that your physician has written for a refill.
• For Controlled Medications we require TWO (2) separate prescriptions.  Please refer to the Letter to Physician listed under the “Forms” section for details.
• If you prefer Brand rather than Generic, your physician MUST write on the prescription “Brand Only” or “Do Not Substitute”.
• Medications are filled exactly as written by your doctor on the prescription.  It is YOUR responsibility to confirm they are written for the correct dose and correct time of day.
